Letter from the CEO - Daily Boston - 11 noviembre 2021

Letter from the CEO, Javier Marin

I am very  happy and proud  to announce that “El Planeta Media” family is growing. After lots of hard work, challenges and looking forward to the future growth of our two newspapers El Planeta in Boston and El Tiempo Latino in Washington D.C., we have done new talent acquisition. As our tagline says: “Knowledge and Diversity for Progress” we are getting ready for 2022.  Our goal is to provide curated access to Spanish speaking readers to the most relevant information, news, analysis and thoughts from the best sources and thinkers around the world. In addition to our solid local and national team of reporters and writers, we have strengthened content partnerships with The Washington Post, Financial Times, WBUR and WAMU (Boston and DC NPR stations), BBC, Boston Business Journal and NowThis News. Two important personal highlights I want to share: 1. The formal involvement of my mentor for years Marty Baron, former editor of The Boston Globe and the Washington Post as Advisor to the Publisher of El Planeta Media joining Ana Julia Jatar, our Chief Advisor. 2.  I was selected to be part of the 60th Cohort of the Owners and Presidents Management Program (OPM) at Harvard Business School. At HBS I have the opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas with more than 120 entrepreneurs from more than 40 countries. Learnings from the program are already having an impact in our strategy and business results.
